I have made the difficult decision to cancel live plant sales this spring so that I can focus on planting seed crops and recover a bit from the rush of these past two years! It has been an intense period of growth in the seed world and I am needing a break from sales to prepare for the growing season. If you were hoping to buy live plants I highly encourage you to try starting from some from seed this year! It's a journey that you will learn so much from, and it's not too late! Perennials can be started in until late spring in pots and transplanted in the fall. Or they can be direct sown in your garden in the fall for germination next spring, this technique is especially helpful for seed that requires cold stratification. Direct sowing may be the simplest option for those of you without much time or seed starting equipment. I will be positing a resource page on my website this summer with detailed instructions on how best to direct sow seed in the fall.
I hope you all have a beautiful time in your gardens this summer!
