Earthbeat Seeds is a team of three women dedicated to restoring human and planetary health by spreading native and medicinal seeds far and wide. We practice mission-driven commerce, placing social and environmental responsibility at the heart of everything we do.  We offer more than just seeds — but a commitment to ecological healing, biodiversity, and local wellness in the following ways:

Ethical Sourcing:  We offer sustainably grown and wild-harvested seeds from reputable small-scale growers, permaculturists, wild harvesters and restoration seed companies.  All of our seed is open pollinated, non-GMO and grown using sustainable methods that often go beyond organic standards.  Although much of our seed is actually certified organic by our growers we personally do not wish to support the certification due to the greenwashing, diluted organic standards and extra paperwork and cost being put on those who use environmentally friendly practices.  

Eco-Packaging:  All of our packaging, including shipping materials, are made from 100% recycled and unbleached content and are fully compostable! So even the waste can go into your garden :-) We also source the paper for our packets from an American paper mill that is 100% hydro powered, FSC certified, does not use any harmful chemicals and even built a salmon ladder to support native ecology!

Community Support: To date we have donated over 15,000 seed packets to the Herbalists Without Borders seed grant program that distributes seeds to members to help them start community herbal gardens and clinics!

Sustainable Shipping:  We only ship USPS as that is the most sustainable and efficient way to ship packages since our dedicated postal delivery people are traveling your local route daily anyway.  This eliminates the need to send large, loud delivery trucks from other carriers to your individual house for one delivery. 

As a consumer you deserve a completely guilt free experience when procuring a sustainable product, and we go out of our way to do our very best in every facet of this buisness!
